Thank you for taking the time to visit Saluki Horses, located at the southern tip of Illinois, in Carbondale--home of the Southern Illinois University Salukis. Our AQHA registered Foundation Quarter Horses are certified by NFQHA and FQHR and have on their registration papers such names as Poco Bueno, King, Doc Tari, Peppy San Badger, Mosby, Acadamosby Award, Dash For Cash and Doc Bar. Our mares have been bred to sires with Poco Bueno, King, Wimpy, Holidoc, Hotrod Holi, and Dash for Cash on their papers, yielding babies that are loaded with speed, and cow. These offspring make excellent roping, reining, and cutting prospects. We also have homozygous APHA registered Paint Mares with Sky Bug Bingo, and Hank-A-Chief, on their papers who have been bred to APHA sires from the Rapid Ranger and Q-Ton Eagle lines. The result is paint babies that are from foundation Paint stock with a history of performance.
